Deficient Practice Statement Based on the record review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential safety risk to the children in care. During the children’s file review the LPA reviewed sleep logs for C1, C4, C5 that were timed for every 30 minutes. All sleep logs had set times such as 12:15PM, 12:45PM, 1:15PM, etc. Licensee stated C4 and C5 lay down with the rest of the children at the same time, however, C1 does not have a sleep regular schedule due to their age. Deficient Practice Statement Based on the observation, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential Safety risk to the children in care. During the facility tour the LPA observed knives in a dish rack located on the counter and knives located in an unlocked dishwasher that were accessible to the children in care, however, the children were participating in an activity away from the kitchen.
