    101223(a)(1) · 101223(a)(1) Personal Rights: a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights (1) To be accorded dignity in his/her personal relationships with staff and other persons.

    Facility will complete training on responsibility for care and supervision and personal rights in accordance with CCR Title 22 Division regulations for all teachers. Facility will submit proof of training to the Department by the close of business day, 5/13/2022. Based on staff interviews and video footage review, the facility did not accord dignity to a child in their personal relationships when staff moved a child by dragging them by the arm across the room. This is an immediate health and safety risk to children in care. Facility agrees to provide this report, cited deficiency and other pertinent documents issued by the department to the parent(s) of children in care within 24 hours or the next time in care; this includes all newly enrolled children over the next 12 months.
