Director provided proof of regular pest control service and agreed to continue pest control service to eliminate the cock roach issue. Director stated facility has designated staff members who will conduct a walk-through of the facility every evening to ensure facility is clean and any dead cock roaches are cleaned and disposed of. Based on observation and interview, facility did not ensure center was free from cock roaches and clean, safe, and sanitary at all times. Cock roach infestations can cause health hazards. This poses an immediate risk to the health, safety, and personal rights of children in care. Director agreed to work with pest control to find a successful solution that will eliminate this issue. POC to be cleared upon subsequent inspection by POC due date.
