Director stated the outlet found to be in lead exceedance, the kitchen faucet, was last used yesterday. Director has covered the kitchen faucet and posted appropriate "closed/do not use" signage immediately around it. Director stated she plans on having the fixture replaced and then having it retested once that is completed. Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the directive above, as one outlet (outlet used for food preparation) out of thirteen outlets tested with an Action Level Exceedance (ALE). This poses an immediate Health and Safety risk to children in care. Director will continue to provide the status and updates regarding the kitchen faucet during the replacement process with planned completion within 30 days by 02/06/23.
