Licensee was given a hard copy of CCR 102417(a). Licensee stated she will watch the following CCLD training video titled: “Supervising Children in Family Child Care” at ccld.childcarevideos.org/family-child-care-providers/supervising-children-in-family-child-care. Licensee agrees to provide the Department with a written summary of her observations Based on licensee’s admission, interviews conducted, and records reviewed, the licensee did not ensure daycare children were supervised at all times, as three (3) day care children left the facility unsupervised, which poses an immediate Health and Safety risk to children in care. of the above training video and a written plan describing how she will ensure all children are always supervised by adult daycare staff during outdoor activities.

102416.2(b) · Reporting Requirements. The licensee shall report to the Department any of the events as specified in Health and Safety Code Section 1597.467(b)(1)(A) through (b)(1)(C) that occur during the operation of the family child care home.
Licensee understands that any future incidents that affect the health and safety of any child in care must be reported verbally to the San Diego Child Care Regional Office (SDCCRO) within 24 hours and then in written form LIC-624B within 7 days. Licensee states she will submit a written unusual incident report to analyst by 05/09/2022 to correct the deficiency. Based on licensee’s admission and records reviewed, licensee failed to submit a written unusual incident report about a significant lack of supervision incident that occurred on 02/10/2022, when three children walked out of the day care facility unsupervised, which poses an immediate Health and Safety risk to children in care.
