101239.2(a) · Drinking Water. Drinking water from a noncontaminating fixture or container shall be readily available both indoors and in the outdoor activity area. (1) Children shall be free to drink as they wish.

On the lower playground, LPA observed children having Director Thalia Duran agreed to ensure drinking water is readily available indoor and outdoor. Director will issue written memo to staff to instruction staff to bring children's water bottles to the playground at the beginning of outdoor time. Copy of the memo will be submitted to the Department by 8/26/2021. outdoor activities with no drinking water available to them. The drinking fountain was not dispensing any water. Their water bottles were in Room B13. That presented potential risks to the children's heath and safety, especially in the summer. SUPERVISOR'S NAME: Aaron Ross
