Based on interviews with facility staff on 04/28/23, it was corroborated that due to a lack of supervision, child C1 cut their hair with a pair of children's scissors found in the classroom; this was not observed by any staff member. This poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care The center director stated that the scissors in the children's classrooms have been made inaccessible to children in care. The center director stated that an all staff meeting will be held on 08/10/23 and cover the topic of care and supervsion, classroom management, and facility policies and procedures.
