  Since the incident, Program Coordinator implemented a stricter transition child count & re-count policy to use whenever theres a stop during transition to & from the playground, bathroom, ect. effective 03/31/2026. On 5/07/26 staff & new hires were given a refresher training on care, safety, supervision Based on interviews and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that a day care child was left unsurpervised on the playground for an unknown amount of time which poses an immediate health, safety, or personal rights risk to persons in care. & the new policy. The staff training agenda & sign in sheet was provided to LPA on 06/12/2026 . In addition to the policy and training, the playground now has cameras and a doorbell has been installed on the door leading to the playground area for a more secure enviroment.
