  Licensee disclosed that during the month of August, (date unknown) a child was sitting Licensee immediately replaced the broken chair and purchased a new set of 4 chairs. During the visit conducted on 8/23/24, LPA Katrdzhyan observed the new chairs. Deficiency is cleared and no further action is needed by the Licensee. on a rusted chair when the chair collapsed causing the child to fall. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

  102417(b) · Operation of a Family Child Care Home. The home shall be kept clean and orderly, with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort.

  During a tour of the facility conducted License will clean the outside play area and toys and submit proof of correction (pictures) to CCL by the POC due date. Licensee understands that the day care should be clean, sanitary and in good repair at all times. on 8/23/24 and 11/1/24, LPA Katrdzhyan observed the outside play area and toys to be unsanitary. The toys were covered with dust, water, dirt and leaves (pictures taken). Per the Licensee, the outside toys and equipment are hosed down once a month and let to be air dried.
