  • Type B

101700.3(b)(1) · Lead Testing Written Directives (b)(1) a result with values of 5.5 parts per billion or greater shall be deemed an Action Level Exceedance (ALE).

The facility has made Faucet D inaccessible to children by placing a bag over it and labeling it with a sign that indicates "Do Not Use." The facility further indicates that they shall be fully replacing the faucet and will conduct retesting. After water lead testing was completed, the facility had one faucet (D) located in classroom 3 with an Action Level Exceedance of 8.4ppb, which poses a potential risk to the health, safety, and personal rights of children in care. LPAs advised to let the Department know when retesting has been scheduled and to submit the results once completed. LPAs additionally advised submitting LIC9275 and LIC9276 for the water lead testing that has already been completed. SUPERVISOR'S NAME: Joel Segura
