101700.3(b)(2) · (b)(2) Licensees shall maintain a lead value at or below the Action Level of 5 ppb in all outlets subject to the testing requirements of these Written Directives, for the health and safety of children in care.

Director stated that she shall have Outlet A retested by 2/4/26 if an additional flush is not required. If flushing is required, a 3-week flush will be completed. Results will be sent to LPA by 2/4/26. Per Lead Testing results, there is 1 drinking water outlet inside the facility with lead exceedance. Director states that the outlet is only used for watering plants and some activities like playing in the sand. Due to children having access to the water outlet, this poses/posed potential risk to health/safety of children in care. Failure to correct will result in a $100 per day civil penalty until corrected. Repeat violations are $250 per violation and $100 per day until corrected.
