  102417(g) · Operation of a Family Child Care Home. The home shall be free from defects or conditions which might endanger a child. On 5/19/22 at approximately 4:00PM a child was attempting to take dogs bone. Dog looked back and bit the child’s finger Licensee stated that she will no longer allow dog to be accessible to children in care. Pet will be in inaccessable rooms or in the backyard while the children are inside the facility. Child did receive medical treatment from primary physician where it was determined that child was bit by a dog. This poses a potential risk to the Health, Safety, or Personal Rights of children in care.
