Deficient Practice Statement During the inspection of the outside play area LPA observed several areas that needed to be addressed for basic maintenance and upkeep prior to becoming a safety issue for the children in care. The areas discussed were the exposed metal on the play structure side steps that needs to be repainted/repaired and LPA observed several open cracks on the black top of the outdoor play area that can potentially be a tripping hazard. LPA advised that the sand box needs to be raked daily and ensured that it has a cover. POC Due Date: 04/02/2024
