During today's visit, licensee placed a child that was napping upstairs to a downstairs bedroom. Licensee stated she understands that children must not enter the off-limits areas in the facility at any time. Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Licensee did not ensure that the day care children stay from entering the off-limit area in the facility.

During the inspection licensee latched and locked the spa cover. LPA and licensee checked that the cover did not lift more than 4 inches while locked. Licensee understands that the cover must be latched and locked at all times while day care children are present.
