A caregiver did not demonstrate competency or good judgment when allowing a three year old child to leave the classroom alone to use the restroom, who instead of vising the restroom ran into a supply room without the caregiver's knowledge of the child's whereabouts. The director and the inspector discussed the matter with the caregiver and how to better handle such situation. This deficiency was corrected during the inspection as the caregiver confirmed understanding.
