Ratios. Ratios are the number of teaching personnel required to be physically present with a child or group of children, per Oklahoma Administrative Code (OAC) 340 Appendix GG - Ratios and Group Sizes. Only teaching personnel count in ratios, unless requirements specifically state otherwise. The program is required to maintain ratios at all times.
CCL arrived to the program and observed both classrooms to be combined with 13 kids total and one teaching personnel with the youngest age being one years old with only one child that age. The noncompliance was not documented as a serious due to the program correcting the noncompliance during the visit by another teaching personnel arriving during the visit. CCL disused with provider the requirements for ratios and capacity. Provider understands she may not leave if the ratio can not allow it.
