    101238(a)(1) · Buildings and Grounds. (a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors... (1) The licensee shall take measures to keep the center free of flies, other insects, and rodents. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Director states that they immediately cleaned up any dropping and started setting traps on the weekends when the kids are gone. Nothing has been caught. Director will continue to ensure that the facility is free of any rodent or insect activity and will employee a pest service if it becomes an issue. All staff has been made aware to watch for any problems and to ensure Based on LPA's inspection of the facility, there were two areas, one in the back corner of the small foyer to the left of the main enterance, and along the baseboard of the classroom to the right of the main entrance, where rodent droppings were observed. This is a potential hazard to the health and safety of children in care. LPA noted no droppings today. they clean thoroughly each day, Failure to correct the cited deficiency(ies), on or before the Plan of Correction (POC) due date, may result in a civil penalty assessment.
